Methila said to the press, “I am playing a girl named Husna Araa. To play my role, I have had to learn to speak the language of the Rohingya. I believe our film is going to be absolutely different from most mainstream Bollywood movies.”

Bangladeshi actor Tangia Zaman Methila  is playing the main protagonist in a Bollywood film titled Rohingya, a poster of which has been released on January 24. 

In the poster, Methila is seen posing as a mysterious woman with fiery eyes, holding a gun. 

Methila is acting alongside the former ‘Mr Bhutan’ and bodybuilder Sangay Tsheltrim. He is also going to play the villain in Salman Khan’s upcoming film Radhe, which is expected to come out on Eid-ul-Fitr this year. 

The cast also includes Samar Batra, Shreyansh Misra, Dorji Wangchuk, Gautam Gosain, Ali Johar, and many more.

Haider Khan, who was the promo director of Dabangg 3, is directing this film. He is also an acclaimed photographer currently working in Bollywood.

Rohingya is being produced under the banner of The Lion Productions . As of now, 90% of the film is complete. The shooting took place in Assam.
