Tanjia Jaman Mithila

Tanjia Jaman Mithila, a popular Bangladeshi model, started her career as a model. Now the model is going to star in a Bollywood movie where she will be seen in the lead role of the movie ‘Rohingya’ directed Haider Khan.

It is learned that 90 percent work of the movie is done in Assam, India. However, ‘Rohingya’ is not about Rohingyas taking shelter in Bangladesh.

The story of the film centers on a woman named ‘Hosne Ara’ where the overall problems of Rohingya will be highlighted.
Rohingya intrusion by facing horrible experience — such a story of refugees will come up on the big screen.

“The film has no politics,” says Mithila. “The film originally depicts a Rohingya girl’s love story where I am working on a lead role.”

“I am going to India for a 10-day schedule on Tuesday to finish the remaining ten percent work. The shooting will take place in Manali, Tripura.”

So without a lead role, I was not interested in movie work. But in this Bollywood film, I am playing my desired role which is a great opportunity for me as a Bangladeshi”.
