A film on Rohingya refugee crisis | Times of India

First time director Haider Khan, will touch upon the issue of Rohingya crisis in his film. Based on true events, the film is also about the unsung Special Forces of the Indian Army.

ROHINGYA is produced by Thunder Dragon Productions from Bhutan. It’s a film about the unsung heroes. The director himself is a son of ex Indian army para trooper so this subject is very close to his heart. He has shot this film in Bhutan, North East of India where very few films have been shot and the beautiful snow caped valleys of Uttarakhand.

Haider Khan the director has also written the story and screenplay of the film. This film highlights the unspoken story of Rohingyas, who fled violence in Myanmar and sought refuge in Bangladesh and are still seeking freedom.
